So leave us a comment with your best parenting advice!!

One of my favorite tips is to love your children and praise them whenever they are doing something well. Let them know you appreciate them. Turn off the TV and sit down a play with them. Open up their imagination. Get dirty with them and play in that sand or squirt them with the hose! Just give them the gift of your time.

My best parenting advice is to cook/bake with your kids. I bake all the time with my 3 yr old DD, and we let her help with the cooking too whenever possible. She tastes the rubs my hubby makes, licks the batter covered spoons when her and I bake... we spend quality time together, she learns a usefull skill (I know, she doesn't need it now... lol), she learns fractions, patience as it cooks/bakes and learns the satisfaction of making something yourself.

My best parenting advice is to go with your gut! There are hundreds of books and media on parenting, on what to do and how to do it, and if you try to follow it all you will go crazy- plus it is impossible since one half of the experts completely disagrees with the other half of experts. Just remember that the best possible thing you can give your kids is your love. A child who grows up loved and supported will grow up happy.

To teach your child good manners use them yourself when they are babies. Say please and thank you to them and when narrating what your baby is doing also use good manners. That way when they start talking it is already part of their vocabulary and a habit that is forming.
