Just A Note:

Have you missed me?

Between lessons, diapers, and games with my kiddos, I've been busy gathering information for all of our winners of our Back to School Event. It's been quite the tedious task and it's taking me a lot longer than I expected!

I was up until 3am on Thursday, but I wasn't emailing any winners like I should have been. Instead I was reading. I hope you'll forgive me. I just had to find out what happened to Marcus in the second book in a fabulous series. You MUST read The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers - You'll see what I mean!

Sorry for the tangent. Anyway....

You should be receiving an email shortly if you won a prize, but if you haven't yet, please do not worry... We haven't forgotten about you! If you do see your name on the list of winners, and have not yet contacted us, please do so, with the name of your prize as the subject in either an email or by using the contact form.

I do ask, though, that if you have already contacted us with your info, please do not do so a second time!
We'll be in touch soon!

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

And, seriously, if you like to read, go out now and buy, borrow, or steal (not really) the Mark of the Lion series... If you're anything like me, you won't be able to put them down!!

Let the schooling begin!

We have our books ready, our supplies together, and schedules all made up. We're just about ready to start school, next Tuesday, here at Keystone Christian Academy. We're all excited to start a new year, but are looking forward to the three day weekend... I've had a long week of preparations!

I would imagine getting ready for school here at our house looks very similar to how your family prepares for back to school. We had to purchase and gather new art supplies, pencils, and paper. The kiddos put together their binders and made sure they had rulers, scissors and glue.

It wasn't just the kiddos who were getting ready for school to start, though. Their teacher had lots to do, too... I had lessons to create, activities to plan, and books to read. Being a homeschooling mama is sure alot of work!

Meet Christine

Photobucket

Christine is married to her best friend, Ray, and together they have six very active children, all ages 7 and under. She's a busy mama, spending most of her days homeschooling five of them, while wearing one! She is the proud owner and author of From Dates to Diapers, where she shares about life with little ones, offers advice and encouragement, and writes her thoughts and opinions on some of the greatest products on the market.

In addition to being a mom, wife, laundry-folder, dish-washer, and boogie-wiper, Christine works as a Social Media Consultant for Mom Central, is a Mom Expert at Wishpot.com, writes for BabySpot.com, and is one of Wal-Mart's "Eleven Moms."

In her spare time (no, she doesn't really have any), Christine enjoys hand crafting beaded jewelry, working on one of her many writing projects, and teaching others how to wear their babies comfortably.
