When my daughter was a little one, she LOVED spaghetti.
Now, her grandmother taught her to dump the spaghetti bowl atop her head. Needless to say, even at 16, she still can't eat right :)
What an interesting idea. I'd have never thought of that!
My example comes right from this morning and all the Cheerios spread ACROSS my kitchen floor that I kept stepping on. I'm amazed at how much food misses my daughter's mouth, falls on her lap and ends up on the floor.
I have actually pined over this product for quite a while-I blogged about it months ago! I just had my first boy, and he will be eating over carpet...enough said!

Two words: Prune Juice. My 8-month-old is a regular prune juice sipper and I learned quickly that in order to avoid an icky juicy mess...feed her in the nude, layer a towel over a bib, and try to overlook the unsightly stains all over the highchair fabric. (Oh yeah, and buy stock in Clorox.) At least with the Wupzey I'd have clean floors --if nothing else!
I'm Christmas shopping, hope I win!Know just the mother who really needs this!
My daughter would fuss and fuss if you didn't let her feed herself in her high chair. But if you didn't watch her closely, she always dumped the bowl on top of her head and then ate it off the tray!

I gave one of these as a shower gift, and it was a big hit!
On the morning of Easter, my little brother got out the chocolate bunnys before my parents woke up and instead of eating them, he rubbed the chocolate all over the house and all over himself. It was a horrible mess.
My husband hid the vegetables in the mash potatoes because this is the only way we could get her to eat them. Well she figured it out and put her hands in the mash potatoes and took each piece of vegetable and threw it across the room. When we came in we saw vegetables stuck to the wall and floor!

Every feeding story is a messy one....

My mother-in-law was coming over, and I was trying to get my house in order. Feeding time came...food everywhere! With the food catcher, I'll never be caught again!
Every meal is messy. My 12 month old is refusing to wear a bib and wants to feed himself. The floor is his bowl!

The folks at Olive Garden hate to see us coming. They get a good tip though.
My husband and I would much rather sit and feed our son than allow him the pleasure of making a huge mess of himself, we would much rather avoid the site of a messy toddler and the chore of cleaning up the floor, highchair and a little boy. Well, there have been those few times that our need to allow him to feed himself overruled, resulting in spaghetti all over the place, in his hair, ears and most of it on the floor! I would love to have this cool contraption so as to allow our son the pleasure of feeding himself more frequently and not worrying about food getting on the floor. Thanks for the giveaway!

Funny how when it's some else's kid the pictures of babies eating and spilling food are pretty funny; then I had to clean up after my boy decided to 'paint' using his spaghetti dinner, not so funny then. Oh, I didn't mention we were trying to sell the house.
My son does great eating until he gets into "play mode", that's when he decides to launch almost anything that's left on his highchair onto the floor or even in his seat! Plus he's wanted to be a self feeder ever since he was introduced to what we call "people" food, not baby food.. LOL
This would really benefit us at home and yes especially out to eat! I feel soo bad when the waiters/waitresses have to clean up after kids messes!
This sure would save on the carpeting. Right now I put a plastic table cloth down before I feed him. It would be so much easier to use this.
I have new carpeting and a toddler granddaughter! You should SEE the messes she makes. LOL Love this idea.
I have a funny story! When my now 7 year old was about 1, I used to commonly put him in his highchair with Cheerios while I was cooking, or needed to use the phone, or get a hands free few minutes. Many times, there would be tons of cheerios on the kitchen floor, yet later when I would return to clean them up, they would either be gone or I would swear that there were less Cheerios on the floor. It was a mystery I never could solve. Then, late one night I couldn't sleep and was sitting in the dark at my computer. I spotted a mouse come out from under the fridge, grab the few Cheerios on the floor (yes, sometimes i go to bed without picking up my entire house, I'm human not an OCD freak), and scurry back under the fridge. Unfortunately, we had to catch him and get rid of him and I had to go back to picking up the cheerios all by myself!! Now that I have another baby, I need a Wupzey to ensure no more Mousey roomates!!!
My son thinks it's funny to throw or push his food off the table. He usually does it so I will bend over and pick it up. While I'm bent over he runs his dirty and sticky fingers through my hair and starts laughing. This would be so helpful for us. No more messy and sticky hair.
No crazy stories YET, haha, due in October, would love to win!!!
As soon as I saw the picture, I knew I had to have this. I love giving my daughter finger foods but the mess is well a mess!! My daughter always has more food in her lap and the floor then in her mouth!! And she loves to drop things and then say uh-oh!! I will be buying this if I don't win!
What a wonderful creation! Don't have many messy stories here yet as my baby has just begun baby cereal, although I know as we edge closer and closer to that 6 month mark this will no doubt be fabulous! She has already discovered the joy of doing "rasperries" with food in her mouth, giving us nice sprays and spurts of whatever she is eating! A sign of things to come...uh oh!

My son is 8 months old and just starting to feed himself puffs and cheerios. He makes it to his mouth about 25% of the time and the rest end up on the floor...so this product would be great for us! A messy story...Anytime my husband feeds my son it's a messy story...he doesn't "catch " the drips as he goes so there's always plenty of baby food everywhere when he's done! My son likes to put his fingers in it and smear it on the tray....FUN!!
I have my great ganddaughter over so I keep a high chair for her here at my house. Last time they came was for a fish fry. We put in frozen boneless ones for the kids. Just learning to eat on her own she doesn't like help and is quite messy sometimes. Half of the fish landed on the carpet. We were constantly picking up even tho me put newspaper down to catch it. I have never sceen any thing like this in the stores. I love it. Thanks for the giveaway.
messy cake on a white table cloth in a nice restaurant... it wasn;t pretty.
Had a mess at a wedding once. German Chocolate cake got on the bottom of the brides dress at the reception.
hope I win!Know just the mother who really needs this!
My daughter decided to stomp an entire pound of red cherries into my white carpet...very very bad!
I think lily is a potential artist with food as her medium. She loves to get her hands into her art. She then uses it to coat her outfits, the high chair, the floor, and extra points for hitting the dog with food. I just think this would help bridle her passion a bit.
What a great idea
My daughter loved to throw peas on the floor, and we would always end up with green socks! This would prevent my son from doing the same thing!
I would LOVE to win this...
I work in a restaurant and I think that this would be a great idea for patrons to have...
You know, we dont mind cleaning a little, but when you dont tip... It just makes it more agravating...
There are a few of the nicer families that I would love to give as gifts...

um, every meal is messy with a toddler, but especially spaghetti and soup!
spaghetti is always a very messy meal at our house the way the pasta sticks to everything. This chair would be awsome for catching all of those noodles!
Bananas and Tomatoes. Their the worst thing to have stuck to your floor! I can't tell you how many times I've been on the floor scraping dried tomato seeds and/or dried, brown banana "strings" off the floor! Let's not even get into accidentally stepping on a banana or tomato while barefoot - ick!!! This invention is too cool - would love, love, love to have one!!!
we have all hardwood floors and im forever scraping old dry food off of them... its so gross!!
mine are all grown and gone, but have alot of drop in visitors and this would make the visit so much easier
I remember when my first was little she would hold out her food for us to taste and then she'd taste it, then hold it back out for us and because it was all soggy it would oftentimes just fall. I'm thinking the Wupzey would have caught some of those soppy, gloppy food bits for me.
It seems like every meal in my house is messy. i am a single mom of 3 kids. I cant even keep my hardwood floors cleans. i find rice everywhere for weeks. Please help me out!!!

lol lots of great comments on here. My favorite story about my son (now 5) was one day I set him up at his high chair, turned to grab a fork, and turned back around to see him eating straight off the tray, no hands. My daughter says "I taught him how to eat like a horse!" lol The older kids are always so helpful, aren't they? Who knows what these two will teach the little one that's on the way.
My 2 year old makes the biggest messes when he eats. Once he is finished he always dumps whatever is left out in his seat. No matter what we do we can't get him to stop. This would be great to help us get it all cleaned up easier. Thanks so much for the chance to win. ecghick@yahoo.com
grandmother has carpet in the dining room-this might help
tiramisu392 (at) yahoo.com
My son is almost 9 months old and somehow manages to miss his mouth while eating Cheerios 3/4 of the time! I just finished sweeping th kitchen floor for the second time today!! This would be the greatest thing for me, my son, and my poor, poor kitchen floor!
This is the best thing I have seen! My son purposely throws food between his legs. He thinks its funny, me not so much.
a little one in my care was trying to learn to feed himself...
he would pick up as much food as he could but his had to the month and what did not go in the mouth was dropped on the floor....
this would have benn very helpful when feeding him or any little person in my care
Would love to win this - thanks!!!
what a great idea and it would keep the dogs from over eating too!!!!
Cherrios - we love them, kids love them but as babies they get them EVERYWHERE. This would be useful!
When the hands are flailing things go everywhere and this would catch a lot of it! Thanks for the contest!

I would love to win this for my neice! Thanks for a chance to win a great prize:0)

I sometimes think that the floor and highchair eat more than my daughter. She loves to eat but I really believes that she thinks the floor and chair should share in her meal. I really love the family dinner time but before the complete meal is done I know that I have another half hour ahead of me cleaning up. Thank you so much for this contest!!
irisheyez@usa.net
I'd love to have a wupsy in stripes!!
:)
My granddaughter is just starting to eat fingerfoods. This would surely upset the dogs who are thrilled when we break out the highchair. They rush over to lay beneath it. :)
Thank you for the contest.
My son is almost 4 months so we're not doing baby food yet, but over the weekend friends of ours with a 9 month-old were visiting and boy did that little girl make a mess! It makes me nervous for what's to come, so I could definitely use this. Thanks for sharing!
I would have to say when they get to the "finger food" stage is when the fun begins. I was forever picking up pea's, cereal, etc. that had rolled to every corner of our dinning room. Those bibs that are supposed to catch everything, hardly worked with my crew. This is SUCH a FANTASTIC product! We are due with our 4th any day now, and this would make life SO much easier when we hit that stage!!!

My baby hasn't gotten into finger foods yet, but with the older kids, I can remember my pug dog waiting under the highchair to catch a snack. This is a great idea and I would love to win. vidomich(at)yahoo(dot)com
I breastfeed so mealtime is amazingly clean and easy :) Sorry, no stories! Doesn't mean I wouldn't like to win!!
awesome product count me in please :)
Spaghetti is a nightmare...and to have it mostly caught before it hits the floor would be wonderful!
The messiest feeding times for all of my 3 girls was their first birthday with their smash cakes.

I don't have a messy time story ...yet. I am about 2 months pregnant and anxiously awaiting the stories I'll be able to tell! =) Right now the only stories I have are of trying to keep down lunch! =(

2 months ago my very neat eating 2 1/2 year old (who ate her FIRST birthday cake with a little spoon and hardly made the mess I hoped she would), had some spaghettios and smeared them all over her high chair and all over her face. It was in her nose and ears, all through her hair. Not fun!
She's almost outgrown the highchair, but my 5 month old will be eating soon and I could really use this!
My cousins' 10 month old daughter is a riot when we feed her. She gets food everywhere you could possibly think of. And she has a little brother on the way, so this would be perfect for her until she can get the food into her mouth at least 80% of the time, and then it can be passed down to baby Kaleb!
This would be much appreciated if won!
I still remember that everytime I put cheerios out on the tray more than half made it on the floor. Oud dog would station himself underneath and gobble them like Pacman.
This would be great for my grandsons 1st birthday!ty very much!
I don't have a baby or toddler but I would love to win a Wupzey for my friend. I'm sure it would really help out at feeding time!
