The The Cupcake Courier is a new product designed to transport and/or store cupcakes and muffins in a stylish carrier. The CUPCAKE COURIER is a rectangular, translucent plastic container that holds three stack able cupcake trays. Each tray has 12 deep cups to hold each cupcake secure. 1. Physically prepared yes- have it all- or to the best you can predict, buying sales now in case they need it later. EMotionally, its hard every year- I spend the summer hanging with them, all night movie parties with those of the right age, and being free to go pick berries or drive to the library, etc....the nights of sitting outside and catching fireflies are fewer now that school has started and in my heart I know they are growing and soon will be grown and on thier own, and I pray I do the best I can for them. So am I ready- backpacks are laid out each night, things are scheduled but my heart is not really ready but they are excited to learn and grown and I cannot hold onto them forever.

      5. I think we're ready. I know my kids are MORE than ready! What I'm not sure I'm ready for is everything that comes along with school - all of the activities and busy-ness. We've been rather lazy this summer, and I'm going to miss that! :)

      7. I have no little chickens of my own, but I am not ready for my niece and nephew to go back. it is SO GREAT to pick them up and spend the day with them, have them for sleepovers. Once baseball was done we got to "party" whooowhooo! they grow up so fast. now I have turned into my mom. I must go take a shot of tequila to redeem myself.

      8. No. I homeschool so it will get busier for me in a couple of weeks. It's worth it, though and it's what works for my family. I will miss being able to sleep in :)

      10. I am ready as far as we have all the stuff, and everything is ready. As far as being ready for a pretty much empty house (have one 3 year old hanging around still), I joked about not being able to wait until school started but now it will be so quiet :(. So, no I don't think I am really prepared!

      19. Well, I can speak freely here since my son is not in the habit of visiting mommy blogs. I am TERRIFIED; he starts middle school this year and he is a child that marches to a different drummer. That's okay in elementary but middle school is when crap hits the fan.

      26. We dont do much for the first day of school. It is still warm enough to wear summer clothes and we cant buy supplies until we know what is needed for each class. The kids have always wanted a school type lunch even in the summer so my larder is ready to pack their sacks. Yes I did buy the sacks.

      43. Since this was my little man's first year of pre-school, I really didn't know what to expect! I soon found out that though I was physically ready, I was NOT AT ALL mentally ready for this!LOL! Seeing my little man walk cautiously into his classroom and then run back and attach himself to my legs was almost more than I could bear! I left with big tears in my eyes, and almost didn't make it to the car before the BIG, UGLY cry hit!LOL! We did make it through though and I think that once we get into the routine, we will both enjoy our days!

I find it easier to wait and then the kids have time to fall into their grove again and their styles and tastes change so quickly that its better to see what the new "in" thing will be.

BUT we had most everything ready to go, I had to go pick up tissues and dry erase markers today so I guess that's not too bad. I still figured I had another week or two left.

She also started second grade.. I was SO not prepared for this as I never really am. She's growing WAY too fast and the first day of school is always a huge reminder that time is just not on my side.

      89. I try every year to help get my grandkids ready for school. I help with supplies and clothes. But, it seems like every year as soon as they get to class, they come home with another list of supplies beyond the one that is posted. So then it is back to the store and hoping everything is in stock.

      92. Not prepared at all. I haven't even had time to do any shopping. I do have adorable Pedoodle shoes for my daughter, as I sell them at my webstore, but other than that......I have a large "to do" list!

      93. I am ready in the sense that I have her clothes, backpack, shoes and all of that. But I have been crying everyday, I miss my little baby that I brought home from the hospital. I guess I just feel like she is growing up so fast and I want to do it all over again.

      98. This year I got my kid's lists early and bought all of the loss leader sales that were on their lists at various stores. It took time and patience, but I got everything they needed for pennies on the dollar! They also used leftovers from last year such as backpacks and partially used composition books. Teachers always want composition books, and most of the time they are barely used. Why is that?

      99. Two of my grandchildren moved in with us and I am so ready for school to start. I love them dearly but could use a little quiet. Thank you so much for the giveaway!

I am prepared. I have bought all of the "cool" containers for her lunch bag and everything. WOW she is growing up.

Mentally, she's ready to go and learn, we've been working with her on some of the activities she needs to do for first grade. We'll be ready by September 2 I hope! Thanks for a great giveaway!

      117. As far as supplies goes, absolutely prepared, even have extas and I buy things for the classroom(s) so that if a child doesn't have something, the teacher can just give it to them. Emotionally, NO WAY! This was always hard for me with my children, I thought it would be easier with my grandchilfren but I was so wrong.

      152. I home school using a virtual public school and no, I am not prepared!

        ReplyDelete
      153. As prepared as I'll ever be. We stopped today to get a new pair of tennis shoes for gym and one more folder. School starts Monday and neither one of us are prepared to get up early again; we've spent the summer sleeping in and staying up late. It's going to be rough getting back in the morning groove.

        ReplyDelete
      154. I thought I was, but on the first day both my kids came home and said they needed additional items for several classes. I am ready for the them to start into their routines and hopefully we won't have the fights we had last year with homework.

      159. Feel prepared? Yes and no. Yes because they have all that they need. No because I do not want them to be gone for hours and the grind of the school schedule which leads into the grind of evening schedule. I will miss them when they start school this coming week.

      165. Ugh. No, I am never prepared for them to go back. Usually I'm prepared as far as "stuff" goes, but never emotionally prepared. We re-bond during the summer and then it's gone again during the school year. I hate it.

        ReplyDelete

      173. With school starting next week, I can say that I am prepared to have them go back to school. All supplies, lunch money in their accounts, photo money (they are taking my sons photos the first day of school, yikes!) everything is ready and good to go. Thank goodness!
