Sweet Extravaganza WEEK SEVEN and winner

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!

Our winner for WEEK SIX is: Jamie from Bubbles & Bath Water congratulations!

Jaime said...
My husband is from England and LOVES "Fairy Cakes" (a.k.a cupcakes to us Americans)! His Aunty makes them from scratch and at a moments notice whenever requested. Being a new wife and trying to live up to Aunty Mary, I made my box mix cupcakes with canned frosting and they were a hit! He couldn't believe how good they were and then he asked..."how did you make these?" I thought about taking the credit but didn't want to hide the boxes for the next 50 years, so I fessed up! So I guess the best are made from the heart (box or no box).

Week Seven

The Cupcake Courier is proudly sponsoring a 12 week event for Mother’s! We know all you Mom’s have cupcakes to bring to class, and to parties... what better way to safely and fashionably if we may add to all your events! You will be able to bring enough cupcakes for the whole class, since it will transport thirty-six cupcakes. The three easy to remove trays allow you to access those perfect cupcakes way on the bottom.

Would you like to be a winner this week?

To enter leave a comment and tell us what you would use the Cupcake Courier For.

We will run this weeks until next Sunday June 8th

  1. I'm participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life next month, and our team is going to have a bake sale at out team booth at the event, to raise even more money for cancer research. This would be a great way to take cupcakes to the event!

  2. I am a teacher, so this would be great to bring treats to my students the day of a test (I call it stress relief). I also volunteer with a non-profit and this would be awesome to bring cupcakes to the kids in the organization. I usually stick them in a flat container with a lid and lose most of the icing in the process! Thanks -- these are so cool!

  6. We make alot of cup cakes and it is hard to carry them all around town to the in-laws and my parents house on a plate. We have had many slip off the plate and fly across the car. So I would use it to transport yummy cupcakes to my family so they can enjoy them too that way I can get all those extra out of my house and continue to lose weight :)

  7. I'd probably never put it in the cupboard between taking them to work and my designated "snack day" once a month at my daughter's school. We love cupcakes here and I usually pack them in a cardboard box when I transport them.

  9. My niece is in girl scouts and they take turns making snacks...this would help keep the cupcakes fresh and keep them from getting messed up from bumping into each other like they do when we put them in a doughnut box.

  10. I think I would become the favorite grandmother in my grandson's classroom when I show up with cupcakes in this nifty carrier. I take them occasionally now, but with this carrier, I would be inclined to do it more often. It's not easy getting all those cupcakes into the car and classroom. This would be a dream to own!

  12. I have THREE boys. Two of which are in school. It seems as if I am always taking cupcakes to school. I also make a LOT of cupcakes here at home. It is easier for the boys to eat a cupcake then a piece of cake. I never have anything to store them in here at home. I would LOVE to win a carrier!!!! :o)

  23. Why, I'd use it to make cupcakes! I have the Kool-aid house and though I often leave out healthy snacks for the kids, Friday's is always cupcake night, I either decorate them and have them ready, or I leave out all the frosting and let the kids decorate their own!

  34. I would use the cupcake carrier for a lot of different reasons, but they all involve transporting cupcakes. I would use it to transport cupcakes to my kids schools for class parties. I would use it for my husband to take to work for various events. I would use it to bring cupcakes to bakesales, and they wouldn't have their icing wrecked by smashing into each other. I would use the cupcake carrier to bring desserts (individual cheesecakes/cupcakes etc) to church potlucks. I would also use the cupcake carrier to bring cupcakes to family gatherings/ parties or whatever else would come up.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I remember the struggle to get cupcakes to the schoolroom intact. Two of my daughters could use this since both have children in grade school and this would be very handy.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have two little girls -- one about to start kindergarten and the other also early on in elementary school. Also have a new baby. I love doing things to volunteer in the girls school and at church. The sad truth? Stack me up against all of those other Moms? I am hands down quite possibly the least crafty and creative of them all -- not just in the school, or the church, but maybe the city, quite possibly the state...despite trying classes, and every best effort! My redemption? I can COOK! So, I can't help sew the costumes or come do the bulletin board or create the flier or decorate for the party (I'm willig...but it might not come out looking all that festive!) but you want me to cater or bring the desserts? I'm all in! Cupcakes are always a favorite! And boy, those I can do. What a bummer though when some of my redeeming efforts get smooshed on the way! I love these carriers...and love how they can protect every last special topping and transport the treats so perfectly. Just perfect reasons in my mind to want to win. Lots of young kids that I know who would surely love some sweet treats with perfect toppings...well -- maybe the perfect toppings are partly for mom -- I'm sure their being sweet and delicious is more of what concerns those great kids!!

My daughter Christine, is almost 50 years old she's been teaching in a classroom for almost 15 years and went back to school for her masters. She works very hard and has always been one of those teachers that amkes the classroom special for her students. From halloween parties with massive ammounts of cupcakes to Christmas parties. She gives each child Christmas presents even. That's how much she loves her students. 56. We moved into a fancy schmancy neighborhood and we are not fancy schmancy. They constantly have block parties and we are compelled to attend. I made cupcakes once and they all "approved". I have been regaled with the title of Cupcake Queen and it is my responsibility to always provide cupcakes. They frown at me though...when I show up with my cupcakes on a disposable aluminum tray. They call me "quaint". My cupcakes are good enough but my presentation is lacking.

Hah! I'd love to show those ladies!

  120. I have been staring at this contest for 7 weeks now..and I wanted to tell you, I could not have a contest better fit for our household. When my DH and I got married, that is one thing I always did/do to make him popular at work. I make cupcakes! Every time he has long hours, a project, and every few fridays, I send him with cupcakes of random kinds and flavors. My daughter and I get the joy of making them.
The past 6 years we were in the military, I probably made more then 1000 cupcakes in my time for the men and women on base. I was actually the wife known for it.
When we got out in Feb, and my DH started his new job, I started mine as the cupcake queen again. Unfortantly, I have to send them on some lame Thanksgiving tray w/ foil on the top, so the frosting gets all nasty (not that anyone cares). One of my friends sent me one of those invididual cupcake holders for your lunch box, but to be able to send a whole batch would be amazing. Thank you for this great contest and here is my fingers crossed!

We have so many years of school and bringing treats ahead of us...the courier would get used...a lot! :)

I have tried every recipe under the sun, but his favorites were the time I grabbed a package of Betty Crocker brand because I was in a rush. He told me, "Whatever you did this time, was perfect...don't lose that recipe!" YIKES!!! What if Betty Crocker ever stops making that mix???

  198. I've been wanting something like this for years for carrying cupcakes! I've found it very difficult to carry a lot of cupcakes at once to my kids' school & preschool parties, birthday parties, etc., and they usually end up uncovered so unprotected during transit. It's made me not want to make cupcakes, but with 3 kids, occasions to have cupcakes have come up pretty often!
